About Us

NWT Construction Ltd. Is a division of Colas Western Canada, based in Yellowknife, NWT. NWT Construction Ltd. is a locally owned and operated construction company based in Yellowknife, NWT. Our operations started in 2005 after the acquisition of an existing company with over 25 years experience in the marketplace. We proudly provide highway and civil road construction services to all areas throughout the Northwest Territories. No job is too big or too small, as we complete jobs from residential driveways to the rehabilation of major airports.

NWT Construction Ltd. is able to bring our goods and services to the marketplace by utilizing our local quarry, our vast fleet of equipment, our local asphalt plant and our highly skilled and experienced personnel.

Our typical operating season runs from May to October and we employ up to 50 personnel seasonally. We strive to hire locally and use qualified and experienced local subcontractors as required.
